The people of Casa De Amor

A family, and a team, who chose to stay.

Casa De Amor is run by local doctors and nurses alongside a founding family who moved their lives to Sosúa to serve, and who live among the community they love.

The founders

Isai was born and raised in the Dominican Republic, where he grew up in poverty and came to know first-hand the needs of the communities Casa De Amor now serves.

Kaitlin is from Canada. At nineteen, after losing her mother to terminal cancer, she gave her life to Christ. In 2018 she moved to the Dominican Republic to help manage the clinic, and in the summer of 2024 the family returned to renovate and re-launch it together.

They serve as full-time missionaries alongside their two daughters, Abigail, five, who lives with Ataxic Cerebral Palsy following a birth injury, and Mya Rose, three.
